 | | Moving Targets: | | | | Moving Target System (MTS) / Running Man |
| Provides added realism to your training by providing a target that will not only turn to present enemy or friend faces and pop up, but will also move at various speeds between cover, peer around corners or from windows.
-
Mover motor drive unit provides both control of up to 2 turning targets (ITU90SH target units) mounted on the mover target trolley and the actual propulsion of the mover target trolley whether as a self-contained self-propelled unit or by means of a nylon-coated steel cable.
-
Either method provides variable speeds from 0.1 to 5 metres per second whilst retaining accurate positioning and ability to stop at 0.5 metre intervals along the track.
-
The length of the track depends upon the size of the site/building in which the mover is to be placed.
-
The mover controller is a hand-held, multi-programmable micro-processor unit which communicates with the mover motor drive unit using single twisted pair cable link to provide control at distances of up to 1000m.
-
All of the target turning and trolley movements may be manually controlled or pre-programmed by the operator to provide a highly accurate, consistent training scenario. |

| | | | ITU Overhead Transport System (OTS) / Advancing Man System |
 Full Details |
-
The ITU Overhead Transport System (OTS) can be used at each lane on a 25m, 50m or 100m range.
-
The ITU OTS is on overhead rails and is used to mount a modified ITU90SH target unit from the target suspension bracket.
-
This would enable the target units to run on the rails and to be stopped at specified points along its route, say, 25m and 40m, or as requested by the customer. |
|
| | | |
|
-
The target unit will be capable of turning to both faces, if required, otherwise to just one shoot face.
-
The winches for each of the rail movers would be mounted in the ceiling above the firer’s position.
-
The control unit will either be located at each firers position or alternatively from a central control station, again as specified by the customer.
-
Target protection would only be for 9mm weapons. |

| | | | TTS Target Runner |
 Full Details |
-
The Target Transport System (TTS) is a target runner on an overhead suspended rail or wire system and is used to transport a fixed paper target to one of six distances.
-
The TTS can be used at each lane on a 25m. 50m and 100m full bore rifle and pistol range.
-
The forward and backward movement will be controlled at each firing position by the firer to the chosen distances of 25m, 20m, 15m, 10m, 5m and final firing bench position.
-
The final firing bench position will allow the firer to scrutinize, score and mark out/patch the target for continued use. |
